From AI or no-code prototype to a production web app
Founders and business units who have won first users with a prototype and now need reliable, extensible operations.
Updated: 2026-10
AI app builders and no-code tools produce convincing prototypes quickly, but rarely a foundation for operations. We analyse the prototype, take its flows, screens and learnings as a specification, and rebuild the application on Next.js and Supabase with proper permissions, tests and data protection.
A prototype from an AI builder proves an idea holds. Once real customer data, multiple roles or payments come in, the limits show: permissions are handled in the frontend instead of the database, the data model grew rather than being designed, tests are missing, and nobody can say with confidence what a change will break elsewhere.
Repairing generated code line by line is usually more expensive than rebuilding the application properly. What is valuable in the prototype are the flows, the screens and the user feedback — exactly what we take over as the specification.
What you get
Prototype assessment
Written evaluation: what is carried over, what must be redesigned and which risks the current state carries.
Designed data model
PostgreSQL schema with row-level security, tenant isolation and a migration path for existing data.
Production web app or PWA
Next.js, TypeScript, tested core flows, deployment on Vercel or EU infrastructure.
Data-protection baseline
Storage locations, deletion concept and processor agreements documented under revFADP and GDPR.
Handover
Code, access and documentation, so you are not tied to us.
How it runs
- 01
Assessment
Review prototype, user feedback and data; define the scope of the first production release.
- 02
Architecture
Design data model, roles and interfaces; plan data migration.
- 03
Rebuild
Iteratively, with the prototype as reference for flows and screens.
- 04
Cutover
Data migration, parallel running where needed, retirement of the prototype.
Price framing
Fixed price after the prototype assessment. The assessment itself is clearly bounded and yields a usable result even if you continue building with someone else.
Indicative, not a binding quote — the frame is confirmed during scoping.

FAQ
Can't we just keep using the generated code?
Sometimes individual parts, such as UI components. Permissions, data model and core logic we usually rebuild, because repairs there are more expensive and riskier.
What happens to the prototype's data?
We plan the migration as part of the architecture and carry existing users and data into the new application.
Prototypes from which tools do you take on?
Regardless of the tool — Lovable, Bolt, v0, Bubble or others. We use the prototype as a specification, not as the technical foundation.
