Website Development

Websites that get found — in Google and in AI answers — and bring in enquiries.

Company websites on Next.js with a technical SEO and GEO foundation, fast load times and a clean data-protection baseline. Built for visibility and enquiries, not just a first impression.

Most websites we get to see share the same problem: they look tidy and still bring no enquiries. The reason is rarely design. It is that the site does not exist for the searches potential customers actually make, that a visitor does not know after ten seconds whether they are in the right place, or that too many hurdles sit between interest and contact.

What a website has to do today

A company website has two audiences. The first is people: decision-makers who want a clear picture quickly, on a phone as much as on a screen. The second is machines: search engines that must understand what each page is about, and increasingly AI systems such as Google's AI Overviews, ChatGPT or Perplexity that assemble answers from websites and cite sources. A website built only for the first audience gives away most of its impact.

Engineering as foundation, not afterthought

We build websites on Next.js. Pages are pre-rendered and served as finished HTML, which makes them fast and fully readable for search engines. We plan for the Core Web Vitals — loading of the largest element, responsiveness to input, layout stability — from the start rather than optimising afterwards. Every page gets a unique canonical, multilingual pages get honest hreflang, and structured data describes organisation, services, articles and FAQs in machine-readable form.

For multilingual Swiss websites this matters especially. A French or English version that does not exist for a given page must not be faked; otherwise Google indexes empty or wrongly linked pages. We build hreflang to reflect exactly what actually exists.

Visible in AI answers: GEO

Generative Engine Optimisation is not a trick but good information architecture. AI systems cite pages that answer a question directly and self-containedly, have clear entities — who offers what, where, for whom — and are technically easy to retrieve. We therefore structure content with short answer paragraphs, unambiguous terms and clean markup, provide an llms.txt, and check that AI crawlers are not unintentionally blocked.

Content that brings enquiries

We structure a website around target customers' questions, not the org chart. Instead of one service page listing everything, each service gets its own page explaining who it is for, how it runs and what it is not. That honesty works: it attracts the right enquiries and keeps the wrong ones away. Where it fits, regional pages, industry pages or guides extend the structure — but only with original content, not copies with a swapped place name.

Relaunch without ranking loss

A relaunch is the moment websites most often lose visibility. Old URLs disappear without redirects, content that ranked gets cut, and months of built-up relevance are lost. Before a relaunch we capture every URL with visibility from Google Search Console, plan permanent redirects to the matching new page, and verify after go-live that nothing leads nowhere.

A Swiss website needs an imprint, a privacy policy under the revFADP and — as soon as it targets EU visitors — alignment with the GDPR. We build tracking and embedded services so that no unnecessary data flows without consent, and provide the technical groundwork for the privacy policy. Legal review of the texts in the individual case remains a matter for legal counsel.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Website Development

What does a website with Innopulse cost?

It depends on page count, languages, content effort and integrations. We work at a fixed price after scoping and name the frame before we start.

Can we maintain content ourselves?

Yes — via a headless CMS or structured content files, depending on how often and by whom content changes.

Do you write the copy too?

Yes. We develop core copy for service and overview pages with you, because it is the biggest lever for visibility and enquiries.

What is the difference between SEO and GEO?

SEO targets rankings in classic search results. GEO aims to be cited as a source in AI-generated answers. Both benefit from the same foundation: clear content, clean engineering, structured data.
