What does a website cost?
Updated: 2026-10
Website cost depends mainly on the number of distinct pages, the number of languages, copy effort and integrations — less on design. A relaunch with a redirect plan takes more work than a build without existing content. We name a binding frame as a fixed price after a short first call.
The website price question is often answered with a range from a site-builder subscription to an agency project. That helps no one, because it covers very different services: a template with your logo is not the same as a website built for specific searches and meant to bring enquiries.
It is more useful to know the cost drivers. Then you can decide deliberately where to invest and where to simplify.
What drives the cost
Number of distinct pages
Every service, region or audience with its own page needs its own content. That is the biggest lever for visibility — and for effort.
Languages
Each additional language multiplies copy, review and technical linking. Honest multilingualism means translating only what is genuinely needed in that language.
Copy
Good service copy is work — for you and for us. Supplying copy yourself saves budget; developing it with us usually gains impact.
Existing site in a relaunch
An existing website with visibility needs an inventory, a redirect plan and checks after go-live. That costs, but protects rankings.
Integrations
Booking, forms with logic, CRM connections, member areas or shop features increase effort and testing.
Design individuality
A bespoke design costs more than a well-adapted base system. For visibility and enquiries it is rarely the decisive factor.
How we price
- 01
Fixed price
For clearly scoped websites and relaunches. Scope, pages and languages are fixed before the project starts.
- 02
Fixed price plus content retainer
The website at a fixed price, then ongoing expansion with new pages and content within a monthly frame.
- 03
Effort-based estimate
Where scope is still open at the start, such as complex integrations, with an estimate agreed beforehand.
We deliberately publish no online prices: every case differs. After a short first conversation you receive a binding fixed price or clear frame.

Matching offers
Website relaunch with an SEO and GEO foundation
A relaunch that protects visibility instead of losing it: we capture every URL with impressions from Search Console, build the new website on Next.js with technical SEO, structured data and a GEO foundation, permanently redirect old URLs to the matching new pages, and check indexing and redirects after go-live.
Technical SEO audit
A technical SEO audit examines the foundation of your findability: indexing, Core Web Vitals, structured data, crawling and site architecture. The result is a prioritised list of actions showing which technical levers deliver the greatest visibility gain — and in what order.
FAQ
Why is a site builder so much cheaper?
Because you take on design, copy, structure and technology yourself and are tied to a predefined system. For a pure business card that may suffice; for a website meant to be found deliberately it soon hits limits.
What does running the site cost after launch?
Hosting a pre-rendered Next.js website is usually inexpensive. The real ongoing costs come from new content, not from the technology.
Is a relaunch worth it if the old site still works?
Only if it fails at its job — being found and bringing enquiries. Targeted optimisation is often enough. We assess that honestly upfront.
